Not sure I get the issue. Built in keyloggers?.. or just USB being
vulnerable? Wouldn't someone have to be pretty close to capture my
keystrokes?

As for functionality...
Logitech's unity receiver has been flawless - never an issue, plug it
in turn on the switch boot the boxen and I'm off to the races.
