interfaces automatically renamed without asking after reboot

Hello

I have an Ubuntu server 13.10 that act as KVM hypervisor , after an update
and reboot
two interfaces has been automatically renamed ...

em3 became rename4
em4 decame rename5

This break my KVM configuration as em4 interface supports 802.1q VLANs
and is no more recognized

I would like to permanently rename those interfaces to em3 and em4
infos , links welcome
