This is a network management-tool for some kind of NAS device, is that correct?

May I suggest that you run up a virtual machine with a supported old
version of Ubuntu in it, and install it in there?

This would work as a means of using the program, but also, you might
be able to study it in its natural environment and work out what is
required.
