Failed update for ubuntu 12.04 LTS

What Nils said.

Me, I'd go into System Preferences | Software Sources and untick the
DVD from the list of sources, rather than edit files - but then again,
I can't stand KDE so I don't know where the equivalent is in Kubuntu.

Which is why normally I'd suggest you ask such things on the Kubuntu list. :-)
