Unity 7 or 8 for Ubuntu 13.10

Hello everyone! I'm writing a post for techrepublic.com and need to know if it will be Unity 7 or 8 shipping as the default for 13.10. I've been under the assumption that it will be 7 until 14.04. Does anyone have any insight into this? I've googled and found conflicting information. Thank you all. Unity 7 for 13.10.
I'm not very sure, but I think Unity 8 will NOT fully integraded even in 14.04 LTS
