Anyone interested in a "GNOME 2 look and feel" remix?

I am planning to create a new Ubuntu remix based on the MATE Desktop Environment.

This new remix will bring the GNOME 2 look and feel to the power and stability of Ubuntu.

Is anyone interested in this project?
