friends-app on raring cannot post to Facebook

I've tried using the new friends-app in raring to post to Facebook. If I
run it from a terminal, I get the following message:

Send failed:  Failed sending to Facebook: {'error': {'code': 4, 'type':
'OAuthException', 'message': '(#4) Application request limit reached'}}

I've tried deleting my Facebook account and re-instating it but it makes
no difference.

Any ideas?
