Thanks, AV3.  I, too, am a 'legacy user' since 94ish when they were
still mindspring.com (or at least parts of them were).  I don't think
that's the problem. 

Kevin O'Gorman seems to have not only spotted the problem (excessive
bounces for some reason, leading earthlink to associate the list with
spamhaus activities, as I understand), but he was able to work on it
and solve it quite quickly seeing as it is a weekend.

Kudos, Prof. O'Gorman.  I know I've had some problems with you in the
past but this time you are /The Man/!  I can't thank you enough.
