Got more serious problems.  Ubuntu won't boot after install and neither
will windows.

Ubuntu message says 2.022375 kernel panic- not synching.  Try passing init=
option to kernel.  See linux documentation/init.txt

will make note of the windows error and report that back in a few minutes.
