Screen Saver Leaves Panels Visible Why?

Colin and the List,
I have also tried to uninstall and reinstall the screensaver... there was no
change.
It is interesting because I have another system that behaves normally.
I do not know what I did wrong or where to look for a clue.
I also recently changed from digest mode to non-digest mode. Am I still having
threading problems?
