I found gThumb the best for the odd standard operation. Gimp i use for
complicated stuff and ImageMagick for bulk file reduction and
watermarks. ImageMagick is cli and so is suited for a lot of file
manipulation. I have about 20 aliases set up for imagemagick it's
fantastic.
