Printer problems after moving to 12.04.1 LTS

I experienced problems with ipp on 12.04, so I switch to dnssd via the
Printing GUI (Settings|Printers|Printer Properties|Device URI|Network
Printer|<printer>(<IP)|Connection: LDP network printer via DNS-SD).
Example Device URI:
dnssd://EPSON5A1B7B%20(WorkForce%20630)._printer._tcp.local/

The printer has a fixed IP (192.168.xxx.xxx) and is accessed via
wireless (from this machine).
