Evince Save copy no longer works as expected

Yes. I just filled out and saved and reloaded to print some US corporate
tax forms. I'm using 12.04 (fresh install). I used synaptic to install
acoread and mine is 9.4.7 dated 10/05/2011.
Maybe I didn't attach enough significance to "avi" following pdf. What
is a pdf avi? I goggled it but only got hits about converting the
formats. If you could provide a link to a readily accessible one I
could try to fill it out and save it to see if it works here.

Did the format of the form you are working with change. On the US tax
forms I mentioned above at the top of the form it states that you can
save the data typed into the form.
