Ubuntu on UEFI and Win 8

Not yet. Dual-booting on UEFI is a pretty well solved problem, but
doing so with secure-boot enabled (as is apparently required by
Windows 8) is a recently-solved problem[0], and hasn't yet been
integrated into the Ubuntu installer or really formed into a general
solution.

I think it's viewed as 'obviously' problematic and as-yet unsolved.
I'd be surprised if this wasn't made pretty easy in 13.04, but it's
not something I've been following *that* closely. Certainly I've seen
failed attempts by people better than me :)
