I tried to subscribe to the gimp-print-devel mailing list just now, and the
'confirm' message locked up kmail about 5 or 6 times, causing a forced kill
& restart several time only to get to that confirm message and have it go
boom every time. Even a reboot was no help.
So I searched that mail dir, grepping for todays date in an ls -l, then
read each of those with cat till I found it and nuked it. Kmail then got
the tummy ache on the restart, presumably rebuilding the index. There are
8805 files in that directory.
Has anyone else ever ran into this, where an incoming confirmation
requester email from lists.sourceforge.net causes kmail, version 1.13.5 on
a Lucid install to get stuck in a 99% cpu loop forever?
Thanks.
Cheers, Gene
