ubuntu 1204 launcher combine all open terminal sessions, hard to find one session

As far as I know, you can't.

You could switch to a different terminal program that uses tabbed
windows - I think I have seen several before. This might be a partial
solution.

Also, I think that this feature - a list of windows on a right-click
of the Launcher icon - is coming in Ubuntu 13.04.
