If you aren't running LO version 4 then of course you won't have this # 
in the launch command line. From memory the original distro installed LO 
simply has "libreoffice". In /opt you should see what the "libreoffice" 
directory is named. When you install, say, the latest 4.0.0.3 from 
LibreOffice.org the folder will be '/opt/libreoffice4.0' .

In a multi-user sysem the "%U", or "%u" for some apps, refers to the 
user and the files contained in his/her home directory.

I have never tried testing if the upper case or the lower case 'u' makes 
a difference although I do know that occasionally using 
'~/<username>/.......' does not work whereas using 
'/home/<username>/....' does.
