cinnamon on 1304

I've tried Cinnamon on 13.04 and so far it seems fine except the full menu
is not visible when I use just my laptop screen. I have reported this.

Also I can not find a place to add a vpn. Clicking on the the gnome network
manager does not reveal the configure/connect submenu as it does in
Unity. I have posted this question on a Mint forum but if anyone here
knows the answer or where to find out, please let me know. The menu does
appear in Unity.

13.04 does work in 3d mode on my ausu 1025 ce/cedarview drivers unit. It
is sluggish. Cinnamon 2d is quicker although I still get a bit of a typing
lag and not as fast as say Lubuntu, by any means.

thanks
