Ah... have you updated or upgraded from OpenJDK to Oracle Java? If so,
rm -rf ~/.java first. Maybe reboot. Never hurts. Before you run Webex
again, run this from here:

For whatever reason, this seems to cure my sound problems in Java
intensive applications. It seems to set up your ~/.java config correctly
and everything else then works. But, I would have pavucontrol also open
so you can see what it happening to your input/output and assign to the
devices you want it use with webex running.
But, if Webex is looking for /dev/snd then you will have to start it
using "padsp webex" to redirect the old OSS /dev/snd to pulse. This
should get you going, I hope! It's worth a shot. That would be better
than hosing up your system. Ric
