upgrading to 12.04.1 stalled

Ctrl-S is a bit of a trap for new users.

I wonder if gnome-terminal could show some indication that terminal
output is paused because of a user action (Ctrl-S), and what to do (i.e.
hit Ctrl-Q) to unpause it.

Anybody wants to file a bug for this?

Of course that wouldn't help with applications like update-manager than
embed a terminal widget.
