how to control playback speed in kino?

Kino seems to use OSS as the standard Linux audio scheme.
So, you have to open kino with the pulse/oss converter:
padsp kino

That'll enable sound if you have audio device "default" (without quotes) 
in your preferences audio tab. For whatever reason it still races the 
video ahead of the audio. I fixed it once before, will have to dig 
around in the settings to correct it. But you will have sound now. Ric
