As I said, one specific example is that icon files seems to be missing
(my hunch some packaging issue or missing deps of the dist-upgrade?) ,
another one is that my other input language is not available for input
anymore , and the GNOME short cuts for windows (maximize , minimize -
ALT-F5 , ALT-F10 etc) do not work anymore. Switching tasks (ALT-TAB)
also does not work anymore. I tried following some help tutorials and
guides for that, to no avail.

Installed packages report - http://paste.ubuntu.com/990614/

I'm on 12.04 according to /etc/lsb-release; uname -a: Linux truck
3.2.0-24-generic #37-Ubuntu SMP Wed Apr 25 08:43:22 UTC 2012 x86_64
x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Let me know of any other detail you might require.

Thank you!
