query on running the GridFTP server in ubuntu.

Hello Everyone

      I am a student from the University of Houston. We are trying to host
a GridFTP application on a ubuntu instance which is running on the
eucalyptus cluster.

I would like to know if it is possible to run the GridFTP server as soon as
I launch the ubuntu instance in the cluster instead of manually starting
the server from the terminal.
