Hi Rajeev. I recently had to spend a month on a Windows computer.
After a week I installed Cygwin and it was great. Real VIM with UNIX
tools, SSH, Bash scripts. I don't remember if it could do multiple
tabs out of the box, but there exists an alternative Cygwin shell
which does.
