change user interface language

Yes, thank you!
That works (in contrast to the official documentation procedure!).
I figured that out somehow too, when I tried to make sense out of the 
message that appeared, when the mouse pointer is hovered over the 
language list.
Maybe somebody should change the misleading documentation ....
