Enough.  This thread has been hijacked to hand-wringing about pet
peeves. Please realise there is no one perfect and final solution to
mis-posts, mal-posts, or ignorance.  At the moment, the complaints
outnumber the offenses, which is no improvement.  Further

Please report offenders on ubuntu-user-owners rather than spamming the
