How do I execute a .run file in Linux Mint 11?

Why not use Jockey to auto-install it?? jockey-gtk is the package name I 
think. The only problem with using the nVidia run file is that it places 
libraries in other-than-official-Ubuntu directories. With Fedora I HAD 
to do that, I thank my lucky stars that with Ubuntu I don't. Ric
