Delete this file and reboot:
/etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules
Feel free to look inside it first - if there are entries mentioning
eth1, then deleting this file will most probably help.
It's a bit odd seeing this symptom on the host (it's very common in VMs)
so I'm not really sure this is the solution. It's harmless though.
