problem printing on Canon mp250

Dear garyk

I don't know what architecture are you using of Ubuntu 12.04 (32bit or
64bit). Though, please try the following after removing your current driver
installation and the printer.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:michael-gruz/canon-trunk
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install cnijfilter-common


Plz let us know if this solves your problem.
