You asked the question and people have given you advice on how to solve
your problem.

However, you have not come back and told people if you have solved your
problem.

Feedback to the people who try and help others with their problems has
been an acknowledged practice to make sure that people who help others
feel that they haven't wasted their time and effort in responding to
someone asking for help. The usual practice when no feedback is provided
is that future requests for help are either ignored and/or the person is
assigned through the message filter to the bit-bucket.

Knowing the result and how it was solved also provides people with
knowledge if what they suggested did not solve the enquirer's question.

So, did you solve your problem? and how: through advice here or from
some other source?
