I'm already consigned to the "Hell of a Thousand Cuts"* by
hand-installing Java 7. I figure a little Natty (Mint 11) wouldn't kill
me. Of course I FIXED it by installing KDE. As soon as I didn't have
window bars, I ditched gnome/Unity. It's still there, I just ignore it
not using it. I'm as happy as a greased little pig.

Don't even get me started. That was hardly a piss of a wind and rain
around here and we still lost power for 3-4 days. The utility company
hasn't been very vigilant about trimming tree limbs off of the wires in
their right-of-ways. I suspect the others are just a guilty. :( Ric
