Upgrading Woes

Hello Again,

Apparently I wasn't clear enough...

It has nothing to do with my password. Before the upgrade, if I wanted to
install an app using the Ubuntu Software Center, I'd do the following:
1. I wold press the meta key and get the unity menu.
2. I'd start writing something for the app name, say - Ubuntu software
center.
3. I'd get the icon, click it and after choosing an app and clicking the
Install button,
4. I'd get a prompt for the root password (gksu)
5. After entering it, the app would be installed.

After the upgrade, nothing happens when I click the Install button in step
4. I have to start the Software center from the command line, either with
sudo or gksu.

Is this a bug with the upgrade?

Thanks,

Amichai.
