I recently installed U10.4 LTS And wanted to run logwatch. Issuing the
command gave a perl error about not having a locale set. Poking
further revealed that locale isn't installed. So:
# apt-get install locale
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Couldn't find package locale
and the repolist shows:
# cat sources.list
deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu lucid main restricted universe multiverse
deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu lucid-updates main restricted
universe multiverse
deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu lucid-security main restricted
universe multiverse
deb http://software.virtualmin.com/gpl/ubuntu/ virtualmin-lucid main
deb http://software.virtualmin.com/gpl/ubuntu/ virtualmin-universal main
so is locale a part of something else or what?

true...life among bumblebees must bear a remarkable resemblance to
life in the United States.
