Broken boot config after update to 11.04

Well, the proper way of doing it is of course mounting /, /boot, /proc,
/sys, /dev, chroot'ing into /, and _then_ executing update-grub and
grub-install. Such a pity that so much support material is plain wrong,
even in the Ubuntu Wiki.
