I goolged before I posted but must not have hit upon the magic
incarnation because I found nothing useful. I just tried again and
found this link: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/784856
Seems 20+ other people have the problem. I subscribed to it and if
notified of a fix will post it here.
