OTB Multitouch support in Natty - What should I be expecting?

Firstly, touchscreens are still a bit fraught on Linux - I speak from
recent experience. One of my companies
(www.simplicity-computers.co.uk) is considering selling touchscreen
machines & we've found that a lot don't work, or don't work well, with
Linux.

Secondly, touchscreen <> multitouch. (Or "!=" if you're more of a C person.)

Multitouch is still mainly a phone/tablet thing in my experience;
desktops tend to have resistive touchscreens, which generally aren't
multitouch.

Capacitative tends to mean multitouch - this means you can (and often
*must*) use your fingertip. Resistive means a stylus and no
multitouch.
