Reading CD & DVD discs => "Error File not found."

Hello Chhatoi,
   Thank you for your reply to my message.  Sorry I misunderstood you.  
  At first, I thought I considered myself as an user in the list of  
Ubuntu system.  No ... Yes I am a solo user of my system.  I followed  
Colin's tip, but it could not work.  My 'User Name' is the only one on  
list.  Guess I already told my system that I am a solo user.  me wrong?
   Anyway, I looked for a 'repair' software in Synaptic Package  
Manager and found Nautilus Actions Configuration.  Right now I am  
learning it.  I keep my fingers crossed as to find solution to my  
problem.  Jim

Your assumption is right. One of my friends DID experience a similar
situation, which did not go wrong for other users on his system. So I
deleted his home folder's contents( I know all of it wasn't necessary, but I
couldn't pry out the configs for the "Places" menu at the time).

Another idea would be to create a new user, and migrate important data to it
later
