HP Deskjet F2483 driver for 10.10?

I just installed Ubuntu 10.10 and am trying to get the peripherals up 
and working. A primary concern is the printer / scanner / fax unit I 
have been using with Windows, HP Deskjet F2483. Has anyone found a 
driver? I'm wary about experimenting, because I damaged a printer once 
by using a do-all generic driver in an earlier iteration of Ubuntu. I'd 
prefer knowing that someone has already managed to get full 
functionality from the hardware.
