Well, not to be outdone, the Alpha version of KDE5 has a roulette wheel
in the center of the workspace, with a big K embossed on it. You click
on it with your mouse or hit any key to make it spin. The ball bops
around until it drops into a slot, and IF YOU'RE LUCKY, you'll get
something close to what you want. If not, just spin again. The trick is
that a one button mouse will work or any key you happen to push. Mom
could use it. A baby could use it. Joe Lunchbucket can use it.
That's the future folks. That's the future, until the Chinese pack us
off to the work camps to pay down our national debt at the end of a
rifle, but that's another topic best discussed on Bikeshed. :) Ric
p/s I hereby claim "prior art" if Steve Jobs or anyone else tries to
build this amazing interface, since I just made it up.
