Natty: nvidia driver as activated but not currently in use

Hi,
don't know for this specific case, but I remarked several times that to
ensure loading of newly installed proprietary drivers is often
preferable to do a cold restart, by shutting down then turning it on
again, as opposed to an hot restart where you just select 'reboot'.
