Look at what Linus did ...I rest my case. Nature abhors a vacuum, so
when Red Hat ditched it's box-set cheap seats, someone else moved (or
was sucked) into the void. Someone that had a lick of sense, too. And
some gold. No doubt.
Who knows, if it wasn't Mark, it could have been anyone of us gifted
enough to herd the necessary amount of cats to make it happen. It took
just a handful of people to crank up Facebook. History is full of
stories of one little person, who others surrounded and followed, and
made paradigm shifts to events. You're good, maybe if coulda been you?
If it was me, putting up with all of you, I'd be roaming the halls with
an ax-handle grinning and gibbering "Here's Johnny!". Good thing it
wasn't me. :) Ric
