I've been testing preseeding 11.04 for an upcoming job and your email
made me realize that I've been using the 32-bit and not the 64-bit
server install! (Thanks!)
I'll try the 64-bit install as soon as I can, although I install grub
to the MBR so I'll probably/hopefully not run into your problem, but
I'll try installing grub to a partition to see what happens.
