Grub problems Lucid 10.04

I do not have any idea what this is. If Tom or others can come up with 
other solution, I can only suggest that Joep convert his 10.04 to grub2.

To do this,
sudo apt-get install grub-pc
*and*
sudo upgrade-from-grub-legacy

Watch carefully for the instructions for each of the commands and when 
all steps are completed, I'd still suggest
sudo grub-install /dev/sda

Joep, wait a day or so to see if Tom or others can come up with 
something else.
