I've had three of the EeePC's and they are great little netbooks. Still
have the last one I bought, a 900. The only issue I had was the kiddie
GUI they had on them. It was like one of those kids, well you can't
really call them toys because they are really pretty nice learning tools
for kids, laptops you buy at Wal Mart in the toy department. The first
one I managed to get the XFCE desktop installed and it was great. Then I
put Ebuntu, now Aurora, on the next two instead and they worked great.
Because of the long delay in upgrading in Ebuntu/Aurora I finally just
upgraded to regular Ubuntu about three months or so ago.
