MS fonts update

I saw that same update. Generally, I go through synaptic to add most
packages since I'm usually browsing various parts of the repos to see what's
there. You can select a package, then on the menu bar, select
package->properties. This has much of the same info as using apt-cache
policy at the command line, but also lists dependencies and a description of
the package that I noted sometimes includes release notes. I'm not terribly
skilled at all of this yet, but hope this helps somewhat.

I did notice in a search for _core fonts_ in the repo that
ttf-mscorefonts-installer has a note in its description that says it
conflicts with and replaces msttcorefonts. I wonder if the update has
something to do with this (and the fact that msttcorefonts is not in any of
the repos I have).
