Yeah that I did but the thing is that it is okay from Synaptic but the
same when done from Ubuntu Software Center it gives me also an option
to install the Linux kernel and now which this kernel is which it is
depicting and letting me allow for downloading?

Though the latest kernel (2.6.32-36-generic) is already there!

sudo update-grub2
