GIMP problems

    When I get a chance I will purge all and manually delete anything
that resembles GIMP :)  Then I will re-install all and see what
happens. It's been doing this for a while now and I can't track down 
what might have changed. Good thing I am not  graphics designer 
depending on GIMP right now :)
