I think Goh Lip intended you to replace disk-x with disk-1 etc.  No I
don't mean 'cat /media/disk-1 etc/etc/lsb-release.

What did you think the command you entered was going to do?  It is
best to make some attempt to understand the suggestions made before
trying them.
