Apache Config

I am trying to set up a web application on an Ubuntu server, that requires the use of FollowSymLinks in the Apache vhost configuration file. Where is this file located?

I have noticed a file in /etc/apache2 called http.conf as well as a file each in /etc/apache2/sites-available and /etc/apache2/sites-enabled
Which one of these do I need to change?
