Er...ones that show most AMD processors eating the dust of the latest 
Intel processors or the fancy high-end six/twelve core processors that 
we'd all love to have?

Motherboard wise, just go for motherboards that are only using solid 
capacitors (they are advertised as 100% solid capacitors or something) 
and pictures of the boards should not have any capacitors with crosses 
or Y's on top.

Sorry Basil, what recent research I have done has been mainly looking 
for Opteron boards that have multiple HT3 links.

I'm not sure today's world will ever either. But the fusion of the cpu 
and gpu is much more likely. AMD Fusion might be later than Intel's 
offering though.
